Covid FAQ

What safety measures will be in place?

Right now it is too early to say exactly, as the conditions of the pandemic are changing daily. We will follow the guidance of local and state officials to keep you as safe as possible. We will have more information for you as we get closer to the festival dates.

What can I do to help make this event safe?

Big Fam will be taking all the necessary steps to make sure this event is a safe as possible. However we will also need your help in doing so. If you feel sick, or are considered high-risk, please stay home.
All Big Fam ticket holders must agree that they will not attend if any of the following is true:
     - In the last 14 days, you have tested positive for, or been in direct contact with someone who has tested positive for, Covid-19

     - You are experiencing any symptoms of Covid-19 (Such as fever of 99.6⁰F or higher, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills, repeated shaking, muscle pain/aches, headache, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, nasal congestion, runny nose, vomiting, diarrhea, fatigue or any other symptoms associated with COVID-19 identified by the CDC)

     -In the last 14 days you have traveled to any location identified by the CDC as being subject to a travel ban. 

What if I can't attend due to covid-19 exposure? 

Ticket holders who cannot attend due to Covid-19 will be able to transfer their tickers 2022. Please contact info@bigfamfestival.com to start this process. 

Please note: According to the CDC, older adults, and people of any age with serious underlying medical conditions may be at higher risk of death or severe illness from COVID-19. All guests should evaluate their risk in determining whether to attend.

To help maintain physical distancing guidelines, ticket holders must also agree that they will not sell, transfer or otherwise provide any of their vehicle seats to anyone other than members of the family with whom they have been sheltering or other trusted acquaintances.

You must follow all health and safety rules set forth by the CDC, Sate of Michigan and Benzie County.

AN INHERENT RISK OF EXPOSURE TO COVID-19 EXISTS IN ANY PUBLIC PLACE WHERE PEOPLE ARE PRESENT. COVID-19 IS AN EXTREMELY CONTAGIOUS DISEASE THAT CAN LEAD TO SEVERE ILLNESS AND DEATH. ACCORDING TO THE CENTERS FOR DISEASE CONTROL AND PREVENTION, SENIOR CITIZENS AND THOSE WITH UNDERLYING MEDICAL CONDITIONS ARE ESPECIALLY VULNERABLE.
