Camping FAQ

Camping Rules​

  • Gates open at 10:00AM on Friday, October 3rd

  • You must leave the campground by Monday, October 6th at 1:00PM

  • No reserving spots - If your group is planning on parking multiple cars next to each other, you must all arrive at the same time

  • Your car will be searched each time you enter the property

  • All campers must have an Official Big Fam wristband

  • General Admission tickets include access to the General Campground 

  • Every vehicle entering the property must have a vehicle pass

  • Camping Upgrades are sold separately and do not include a vehicle pass

  • Re-Entry is allowed
     

What is "The Groves Campground"?

 

The Groves sites offer access to water and power. Great for RVs or setting up an awesome glamping setup. You also will have access to a building with recently remodeled showers and bathrooms. The Groves Campground will have enforced quiet hours each night starting at midnight.

What is Quiet Camping?

Quiet Camping is reserved for guests who are looking for an experience away from the main hustle and bustle, while still being close to everything near GA Camping. This is the best option for families or people who want a quieter area sleep. Quiet hours run from 11pm - 8am.

How big are the campsites?

Campsites will be large enough for you to setup and have a comfortable amount of space to make it your own. All camping options are car camping and will have parking in front of your site.

 

Does a Vehicle pass include a festival ticket?

No, all guests in a vehicle must have a ticket to the event. Only one vehicle pass is needed per vehicle. (Example: If there are 3 people arriving in one vehicle and 1 in a second vehicle, all 4 people need a festival ticket and 2 vehicle passes are needed. Campsites are setup in a grid where each vehicle gets 1 campsite. If you have a large group that wants to camp together, we recommend that you purchase multiple vehicle passes and arrive together.)

What kind of car can I bring?

You may camp with with a standard car, SUV, truck or van. No vehicles over 22' in length will be admitted to the campgrounds. To camp with a larger vehicle or RV you must purchase an RV pass.

Are trailers allowed in the general campground?

We do NOT allow any type of towed trailer in the general campground. In order to bring a trailer you must purchase an RV pass.

Do you have RV hook ups?

Yes, campsites located in The Groves will have access to 30amp and 50amp hook ups and access to water.  - Camping options are available on the ticket page.

Prohibited Items

  • No subwoofers or large powered speakers (As a general rule, if your speaker has a handle, it is too large, and will likely be confiscated.)

  • No fireworks, flying prayer lanterns, or explosives

  • No grills, open flame, candles, or charcoal (small propane-fueled camp stoves are allowed)

  • No generators (RVs with built in generators that run off the RV’s gas are permitted, external gas generators and gas cans are not permitted. Solar generators are allowed)

  • No gas/fuel cans of any kind (with the exception of small propane containers for camp stoves listed above)

  • No animals/pets

  • No glass (mirrors are allowed)

  • No kegs

  • No drones

  • No laser pointers

  • No illegal substances

  • No weapons of any kind

  • No power tools, saws, or unnecessary work equipment

  • No tiki torches

  • No golf clubs

  • No metal hammers (rubber mallets are allowed)

  • No unauthorized merchandise

  • No pressurized gas tanks (including nitrous oxide and helium tanks)

  • No bicycles, skateboards, or scooters

  • No motorized wheeled vehicles (including One Wheelers)

  • No golf carts

  • No American Indian headdresses or imitations thereof

  • No Confederate flags

  • No threatening signs or apparel

When do I need to leave the campground?

All guests must leave the campground by 1:00 PM on Monday, October 6th.
