Camping FAQ

Camping Rules

  • Gates open at 10:00AM on Friday, September 2nd

  • You must leave the campground by Monday, September 5th at 12:00PM

  • No reserving spots. If your group is planning on parking multiple cars next to each other you must all arrive at the same time.

  • Your car will be searched each time you enter the property

  • All campers must have a Big Fam wristband

  • General Admission tickets include access to the General Campground 

  • Every vehicle entering the property must have a vehicle pass

  • Camping Upgrades are sold separately and do not include a vehicle pass

  • Re-Entry is allowed
     

What is the General Campground?

 

The General Campground is included in the purchase of a GA ticket. This campground is located at the main entrance of the venue and is a 10 - 15 minute walk to the main stage.  

 

What is Mountain Camping?

 

Mountain camping is the best location in the venue. This elevated camping option gives you a beautiful view of the main stage and is only a short stroll up the mountain. Mountain Camping is a camping upgrade and is valid for one vehicle and up to 5 people. *Vehicle pass sold separately

What is Family Camping?

Family Camping is reserved for guests arriving with children only. Family camping will be in its own area tucked away from the general campground. Family Camping is an upgrade and is valid for one vehicle. *Vehicle pass sold separately

How big are the campsites?

Campsites will be large enough for you to setup and have a comfortable amount of space to make it your own. All camping options are car camping and will have parking in front of your site.

 

Does a Vehicle pass include a festival ticket?

No, all guests in a vehicle must have a ticket to the event. Only one vehicle pass is needed per vehicle. *Camping Upgrades do not come with a vehicle pass

What kind of car can I bring?

You may camp with with a standard car, SUV, truck or van. No vehicles over 22' in length will be admitted to the campgrounds. To camp with a larger vehicle or RV you must purchase an RV pass. 

Are trailers allowed in the general campground?

We do NOT allow any type of towed trailer in the general campground. In order to bring a trailer you must purchase an RV pass.

Do you have RV hook ups?

At this time we are only offering primitive RV sites with no water or electric hookups.

Prohibited Items

  • No fireworks, flying prayer lanterns, or explosives

  • No grills, open flame, candles, or charcoal (small Coleman-style propane fueled camp stoves will be the one exemption from this rule)

  • No generators (RV’s with built in generators that run off the RV’s gas are permitted, external gas generators and gas cans are not permitted. Solar generators are allowed)

  • No gas/fuel cans of any kind (with the exception of small propane containers for camp stoves listed above)

  • No animals (With the exemption of service animals with proper paperwork shown upon entry search. Animals and owners without paperwork will be turned away before entry.)

  • No glass

  • No kegs

  • No drones

  • No laser pointers

  • No illegal substances

  • No weapons of any kind

  • No tiki torches

  • No golf clubs

  • No hammers

  • No unauthorized merchandise

  • No pressurized gas tanks (including nitrous and helium tanks)

  • No bicycles, skateboards, or scooters

  • No motorized wheeled vehicles 

  • No golf carts

  • No American Indian headdresses

  • No threatening signs or apparel

  • No subwoofers or large powered speakers (will be confiscated if found)

When do I need to leave the campground?

All guests must leave the campground by 12:00 PM on Monday, September 5th.
